Meet Our Director
Brian Fallon DPT, PT
At the age of 12, Brian Fallon was a patient at the Twin Boro Physical Therapy facility in Parlin. The level of care he received there set this company apart from others and inspired him to become a Physical Therapist. Brian Fallon was awarded a full academic scholarship to Seton Hall University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science. He then completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Twin Boro Physical Therapy was Brian’s first choice for employment upon receiving his license. He has been working in the Westwood location since 2006 and has been the Clinical Director of that facility for over 5 years.
Brian enjoys working with all patients from the young patient to the geriatric patient. He has expanded his knowledge base through hands-on training acquired from continuing education courses from Great Lakes Seminars. This course work includes Manual Therapy and Treatment of the Lumbar Complex, Orthopedic Approach to Myofascial Release, Manual Therapy and Mobilization of the Cervical and Thoracic Spine and Ribs, Manual Therapy and Treatment of Common Extremity Dysfunction to name a few.
He utilizes those skills to provide a comprehensive treatment plan consisting of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities. He has recently begun bringing his knowledge to the community through lectures at the local Senior Center to educate them on the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through age-appropriate exercise programs.
When treating patients or managing other therapists, Brian implements Twin Boro’s One2FourTM Care Model to determine the “right level of health care” for each individual. This unique approach looks at the entire episode of care for the patient or athlete. This ranges from a relatively low level of function a patient might experience post injury or surgery all the way through to the peak performance required to return to their prior or preferred level of function. Therapists that skillfully combine manual therapy with evolving functional exercise along the One2FourTM continuum strive to achieve the individual’s “meaningful goals” and “desired outcomes”.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with my wife and children. Whether it’s family game night or playing soccer or basketball outdoors, he loves to spend quality time with fun activities. When we have the time, we love going to zoos and aquariums.”
