Meet Our Director

Samantha Roberts DPT, PT

Samantha Roberts earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The College of Staten Island in 2008 as a member of the International Sociology Honor Society. She advanced her education earning her Doctorate at Touro College graduating with cum laude honors.

After completing her final clinical rotation at an outpatient facility in Staten Island, Samantha was hired as a full time licensed Physical Therapist there. Samantha joined Twin Boro in 2017 as a therapist in our Parlin clinic. She advanced to become the Clinical Director of our Holmdel facility.

She has always had an interest in orthopedic rehabilitation and has completed continuing education courses related to post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, Rehab Techniques for Common Foot/Ankle Injuries, Evidence-Based Examination and Management of Shoulder, Clinical Neurodynamics of Lumbar Spine and Lower Extremity and Mulligan Upper and Lower Quadrant courses.

Samantha has a strong focus in manual therapy to help modulate pain, facilitate the ease of movement, enhance health and wellness and restore physical function. She believes patient education is key for not only achieving goals but for injury prevention and overall health and wellness.

When treating patients or managing other therapists, Samantha implements Twin Boro’s One2FourTM Care Model to determine the “right level of health care” for each individual.  This unique approach looks at the entire continuum of care for the patient or athlete. This ranges from a relatively low level of function a patient might experience post injury or surgery all the way through to the peak performance required to return to their prior or preferred level of function.
