In starting my physical therapy, I discovered strulowitz and Gargiulo to be a happy and enthusiastic place. And when you consider not everyone who comes there may not be all that happy considering their circumstances, that speaks volumes about their staff.I was especially amazed at all the detailed conversation about my injury, helping me to understand all the movements and activities I performed. I tore the patellar tendon in my right knee in October of 2024, and after having surgery, signed up to do my physical therapy treatment and rehab with the team at Strulowitz and Gargiulo - Twin Boro Physical Therapy. This was the first major injury I have ever suffered (31 year old male) despite having been an athlete my whole life, and I was nervous and anxious about the proposition of facing PT and rehab. Now, over 7 months down the line, I cannot say enough positive things about the care I received during my time as a patient with Strulowitz and Gargiulo. Carl Gargiulo is arguably the nicest person in Jersey City and runs the place with the intimacy and kindness that you wouldn't necessarily expect. He is a truly special human being, and his energy, professionalism and positivity is reflected by the rest of the staff.Tricia Conklin was the physical therapist I worked with. Her experience and expertise was clear from the jump, and she consistently went the extra mile by communicating with my surgeon and providing clear goals for me as I went through the recovery process. Tricia is very kind, but she is also tough when she needs to be. She is not afraid to push and motivate her patients. She is absolutely someone you'd want in your corner when coming back from injury or doing basic physical therapy. Tricia is an absolutely outstanding physical therapist, and I could not recommend her enough.Although I mainly worked with Tricia, I can also say that all of the PTs and OTs here are some of the very best. They, along with the aides, receptionists and other staff members, all contribute to the family environment that Carl helps facilitate.10/10, no notes!
