Aquatic Therapy for Accelerated Rehabilitation

Meet Your Director

Aaron Abiog, PT, DPT

MY HOBBIES: Working out, playing basketball, going to the movies

Aaron Abiog graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Exercise Science.  He graduated Touro College where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a second B.S. in Health Science. During his tenure Touro College, he served as the physical therapy program’s student body president.  With an intense interest in treating sports-related injuries, and a desire to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance, Aaron furthered his expertise by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

After completing clinical affiliations in outpatient clinics in New York, he joined Twin Boro Physical Therapy in 2015.  After initially treating as a staff Therapist he advanced to the Clinical Director of the Piscataway site.

Aaron has taken several continuing education courses with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, as well as with Great Lakes Seminars. He has even attended courses taught by Shirley Sahrmann, a leading physical therapist in the field.

When treating patients or managing other therapists, Aaron implements Twin Boro’s One2FourTM Care Model to determine the “right level of health care” for each individual.  This unique approach looks at the entire episode of care for the patient or athlete. This ranges from a relatively low level of function a patient might experience post injury or surgery all the way through to the peak performance required to return to their prior or preferred level of function. Therapists that skillfully combine manual therapy with evolving functional exercise along the One2FourTM continuum strive to achieve the individual’s “meaningful goals” and “desired outcomes”.

Outstanding staff & facilities. Very accommodating with scheduling. Very professional & caring. Periodically received emails to rate my overall satisfaction & progress. All prescribed exercises worked, which sped up my Rehab (I still do them at home now). Received follow up texts from my therapist (Tori) to check on how I was doing after the completion of my PT. I had an excellent experience there & would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Twin Boro PT.
Response from the owner:Ron, we appreciate the positive feedback and are glad to hear you had a great experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're happy we were able to meet your expectations.
