Our Experienced Clinical Team

Keith Scott DPT, PT

Keith Scott earned a B.S. in Sports Science from the University of Richmond and went on to earn his Master’s Degree from the top-ranked University of Delaware Physical Therapy Program where he frequently earned Dean’s List Honors during his studies there. While attending college was also a four-year Division I Varsity student-athlete and Team Captain in both Track and Cross Country.

Upon completion of graduate school, Keith developed his clinical skills over the years and eventually opened his own private practice. In 2003, Keith opened up his own Physical Therapy clinic in Lincoln Park, New Jersey under the Optimum Health Physical Therapy banner and eventually expanded his business to include an additional site in Butler. In 2013, Keith was happy to merge his practice with Twin Boro Physical Therapy thus joining one of the leading physical therapy providers in the state. He now serves as Clinical Director of the Lincoln Park office.

Keith has completed a multitude of advanced training courses on the evaluation and management of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. The majority of his advanced training has focused on developing skills and expertise of the most effective manual therapy techniques available. Keith personalizes his care to each individual patient’s problem to help restore them to their optimum level of function. Keith has also earned distinction as a practitioner from the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

When treating patients or managing other therapists, Keith implements Twin Boro’s One2FourTM Care Model to determine the “right level of health care” for each individual.  This unique approach looks at the entire episode of care for the patient or athlete. This ranges from  a relatively low level of function a patient might experience post injury or surgery all the way through to the peak performance required to return to their prior or preferred level of function. Therapists that skillfully combine manual therapy with evolving functional exercise along the One2FourTM continuum strive to achieve the individual’s “meaningful goals” and “desired outcomes”.

During Keith’s spare time, he enjoys doing family and sports activities with his wife and children, exercising, running and has recently taken up playing the piano.
