Caroline Jolly PT, MSPT

MY HOBBIES: Hiking with her dogs, riding her bike, gardening, going to concerts and doing yoga

Caroline Jolly graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. She went on to receive her Masters of Physical Therapy from Columbia University, graduating with honors. When Caroline was in her late teens, she injured her back. She cured her injury through education and exercise, which led her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Caroline was the co-owner and founder of Craft Physical Therapy, where she worked as a Senior Physical Therapist before merging with Twin Boro Physical Therapy in 2021. She specializes in treating all joints for non-operative injuries, as well as post-surgical rehab, back and neck pain, pelvic floor, core, and postural issues from pre-adolescents to geriatrics. She frequently treats pregnant and post-partum populations for pain and weakness, diastasis recti, pubic rami pain and urinary dysfunction.

Caroline is certified in mat-based Pilates and Women’s Health. She believes each patient is an individual that requires a unique and holistic approach to their care for maximum outcome. She believes tailored exercise progressions in combination with manual therapies, like massage, trigger point release, fascial release, stretching, mobilization, range of motion and breathing techniques, can be used to fashion a unique plan of care for each patient. Her ultimate goal is to help patients restore function to optimal levels and provide them with education to make informed decisions about their activities. She wants her patients to feel empowered to move forward confidently after therapy and into an active lifestyle.

She stands behind Twin Boro’s One2Four™ Care Model, as the serial stages allow a continued focus on optimal client outcomes with a collaborative approach of a coordinated team of professionals that work to maximize and progress patient function.

In her free time, Caroline enjoys hiking with her two amazing doggie companions. She also loves to ride her bike, garden, go to concerts and practice yoga.

Sandy Pietrewicz, PT

MY HOBBIES: Spending time with her family, friends and dog, travelling, going to concerts, being outdoors and water sports

Sandy Pietrewicz graduated magna cum laude from the University of Eindhoven, receiving her B.S. in Physical Therapy. She also holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of San Diego. Physical Therapy is the perfect career for Sandy because it brings together her two passions, sports and biology. She loves that each patient is different and that she gets to diagnose, create a plan of care and see results.

Sandy was the co-owner and founder of Craft Physical Therapy, where she worked as a Physical Therapist since 2005 before merging with Twin Boro Physical Therapy in 2021. Before that, she worked side-by-side with Charles Virgin, M.D., head orthopedic surgeon to the Miami Dolphins. She further honed her manual skills in NYC at a busy, outpatient facility. Sandy frequently treats orthopedic, sports rehabilitation and post-operative patients. She specializes in extremities and the spine in adolescents to seniors.

Sandy has completed various CE courses over her career. She has received training in post-operative care, disorders of the spine, manual therapy, joint mobilization and sports-specific conditions from adolescents to geriatrics.

Sandy uses patient-focused guiding principles, and her objectives are goal-oriented with Twin Boro’s One2Four™ Care Model. Her patient-centered functional approach includes an individualized plan of care that includes massage, joint mobilizations, range of motion and modalities in conjunction with appropriate therapeutic exercises.

During Sandy’s downtime, she likes to spend time with her family, friends and her dog. She has a passion for travelling, sports, and concerts. She also loves to be outdoors, especially water sports such as boating, sailing, fishing and kayaking.

I highly recommend Twin Boro for your physical therapy needs. The entire staff here works as part of your team, from the helpful administrative staff to the therapists. You can tell that the staff in this office cares about your recovery and how you feel. They are skilled and knowledgeable. Caroline was my therapist. She acts as your experienced partner in rehab and guides you through recovery so that you can return to the lifestyle activities you had before your injury. Caroline is intelligent and empathetic and provides personal attention. She constantly touches base and checks up on you, always observing how you're progressing to ensure that you are optimally working on your exercises and using good form. Caroline also adjusts the pace so that you are challenged, but not struggling. I am delighted with the results, and Twin Boro will be my go-to spot for PT if the need ever arises again.

The entire team here is the best! They provide a friendly and fun atmosphere while prioritizing patient care. I’m currently working with Sandy to rehab after surgery and having great results. I’ve seen Sandy for post- surgical and maintenance needs numerous times over the past 10 years and have always had a positive patient experience- she's awesome- and I've also worked with Caroline who is great too! I highly recommend this practice!

Twin Boro in Hoboken is such an AMAZING place! First of all, the staff are all super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and super caring with your treatment. I’ve been seeing Caroline 3x a week for the last two weeks for a pinch nerve on my shoulder/arm and she has truly helped me with this excruciating pain I was feeling in such a short time. If I ever need physical therapy treatment again, I will definitely be coming back here and here only! Thank you!! 🙏🏽 ❤️

Both Sandy & Caroline are amazing PTs. They have both worked on my running injuries for a number of years now, and I won't go anywhere else. Very friendly. The areas are all clean and everything is wiped down. Would highly recommend.

I've been going to Craft for several years for ailments ranging from shoulder / rotator cuff issues to elbow and knee tendonitis. Given my schedule I've mostly worked with Sandy but they are both (Caroline is the other) outstanding and knowledgeable physical therapists. This is not a "chain" P.T. group and there aren't any "assistants" that do the work, it's either Caroline or Sandy so there is personalized attention at all times. I highly recommend them!

As painful as the PT process was for a TKR, I always left feeling better and stronger. Sandy got me on my feet and back to work 2-3 weeks after a total knee replacement! At Craft, I always got the individual attention of my therapist. She was able to work one on one with me to make sure I always received the best possible treatment. I plan on going back for my other knee in a few months!

My son has worked with Sandy at Craft Physical Therapy on and off for several years. He started with her when he was 4 and last worked with her when he was 8. I highly recommend her services, as she is a pleasure to work with and has resolved his physical difficulties each time we have gone to her. She spends a full hour session with him, has flexible hours, and is accommodating when scheduling. My son likes to visit even when he does not need PT.

I've done pt for two seperate, several month long sessions and worked with both Sandy and Caroline. I had a great experience, enough I went back the second time! Both staff are very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Hours and scheduling is very flexible. They worked with me around my doctors prescribed plan to get me back in the gym and doing other activities like rock climbing and yoga. I was able to get advice not only for pt exercises but also how to tailor my ongoing workouts around my future maintenance.I've recommended Craft to friends before as well.
