John Murray

Dr. John Murray graduated as the president of the class of 2019 from Widener University, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Dr. Murray’s clinical experience includes treating a variety of musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and neuromuscular conditions, along with assisting specialties of lymphedema, pelvic floor, and vestibular rehabilitation. His interest lies in treating musculoskeletal injuries, for individuals all ages, and utilizing manual skills to increase functionality of each person.

Dr. Murray’s passion for physical therapy started during his experiences as a patient.  Once an entertainer, he had to stop performance due to back injuries.  During his treatments, he was enlightened about the field of physical therapy and how it benefits individuals throughout their lifespan.  After successful treatment, he returned performing for a number of years till completion of his schooling.

During his career, Dr. Murray has advanced his knowledge with certification as Titleist Performance Expert. Using his vast knowledge of body mechanics, he is able to make the body swing connection to help golfers of all skill levels reach the goals the dream to achieve.

As the Twin Boro Game Shape Manalapan Clinic Director, Dr. Murray holds weekly clinical staff meetings, manages the support staff, and tracks clinical KPI’s. He is a great leader and an asset to the Team!

My PT - Carol is always attentive, courteous, patient, personable and compassionate yet professional in providing care to me ensuring that improvements in my health condition are successful daily and weekly; she is amazing! Also, the rest of the staff from the front desk (Keira, Lucy, other PT staff - Roman, Annie (forgot the name of the 3rd PT) as well as the PT Aides - McKenzie, Darias, and Giselle and whomever else I possibly may have missed are all amazing and know what compassionate care is all about as evidenced by every client feeling happy and revived every time he/she starts and ends PT treatments - I always do! I’m also floored by the major improvements both Carol and the rest of the PT staff have helped me with my progression (much improved personable kinesthetics and pain level has dropped from an 8 to only a 2! I have been going here since 2013. It is one of the best Physical Therapy practices I have been to today. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. The facility has all you need get back to working shape. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to go. I never went for physical therapy before and it took me a long time to finally make a phone call. One day, I just decided I’m sick and tired of this pain (I had for an entire year) and I am going to do something about it. This place was great! Everyone was so friendly, helpful & knowledgeable and I am so glad I went. I feel so much better, this therapy really helped me.
