Our Experienced Clinical Team

Andrew Brown DPT, PT

Andrew Brown attended Ithaca College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Clinical Health Studies and went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in as well. He has interests in all areas of orthopedics – post-operative joints, sports injuries, arthritis, and amputations, among other injuries and conditions. Andrew has also continued his educational advancement and completed training courses in manual techniques as well as vestibular therapy, and frequently treats patients that suffer from BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo).

Andrew began his career with Twin Boro at their Toms River location as a Staff Therapist and eventually moved to Red Bank where he advanced to the Clinical Director level due to his positive patient care outcomes and ability to mentor other therapists.

He also has an extensive background in track and field and has attended many educational seminars related to training and technique. Andrew is currently the track and field coach at Monmouth Regional HS. Andrew continues to further his skills by working hands-on with all of his patients to achieve their functional goals. His background in coaching and technical progression further his ability to analyze movement patterns and teach good exercise and movement technique. He is also creative in his approach of personalizing care for individual patients.

When treating patients or managing other therapists, Andrew implements Twin Boro’s One2FourTM Care Model to determine the “right level of health care” for each individual.  This unique approach looks at the entire episode of care for the patient or athlete. This ranges from  a relatively low level of function a patient might experience post injury or surgery all the way through to the peak performance required to return to their prior or preferred level of function. Therapists that skillfully combine manual therapy with evolving functional exercise along the One2FourTM continuum strive to achieve the individual’s “meaningful goals” and “desired outcomes”.

During his spare time, Andrew competes in the pole vault (track and field) as well as coaches track and field and enjoys a good live comedy show.
